Atlantic Shackleton Global Foundation Announces Texas Tour 2026

Houston | Austin | Dallas |

The Atlantic Shackleton Global Foundation team is preparing to embark on an exciting Texas tour, kicking off on 22 October 2026, with a series of events, presentations and private engagements across Houston, Austin and Dallas.

Throughout the tour, renowned maritime archaeologist and explorer Mensun Bound will share his extraordinary experiences in exploration and discovery, while Executive Director Naomh McElhatton will showcase the Foundation’s ambitious future plans, strategic priorities and philanthropic vision, highlighting opportunities for international collaboration, investment and partnership across ocean science, exploration, education and youth leadership.

Together, joined with the Foundations Chairman Marc Bryan Brown, they will present the Foundation’s work and future ambitions, including its flagship Endurance 2 vision, the Spirit of Shackleton sailing initiative and its growing portfolio of youth development and ocean science programmes.

The Texas tour represents an important milestone in the Foundation’s international development, providing an opportunity to connect with philanthropists, business leaders, researchers and organisations who share our commitment to advancing ocean discovery and inspiring the next generation.

We look forward to sharing our vision, building meaningful partnerships and meeting new friends and supporters across Texas!
